Dan Brown

I finished Dan Brown's "The Lost Symbol" and I was very, very impressed. Of course, it was a thrilling, page-turning story. But it was the meticulous research that's mind-blowing to me.

While I was reading, I wanted to see all the buildings, monuments, paintings, etc that played a part in solving the riddle. In the grocery store, I saw a companion guide magazine that supposedly showed them all. I might go back and skim through it now that I've read the book and am so intrigued.

  1. Since the launch of the book, I was really interested to buy myself a copy, snuggle in my bed and read it but I haven't gotten the chance. I have been too hooked on my online "works" that I can't find the time... yet. Anyhoo, I have read several reviews from other bloggers about it, some so-so/not good and several great feedbacks. Hmmmm. Even so... this is Dan Brown and I'll see for myself. :)

  2. I haven't seen the book, I hardly ever buy new books anymore, I'm always at the second hand bookstore :) But I do wan't to read this one. And reading similar books have the same effect on me - I want to see the exciting and beautiful sights they mention!
