As promised, here's my second try on the rag rug and I'm much happier with it. In this picture, it's about 2 feet by 3 feet and I'd like it much bigger (maybe 5 feet by 7 feet).
And congratulations to the Louisville Cardinals for making it to the National Championship !! What an exciting game - I'm definitely glad I had my crocheting since it came down to a last second shot.
I keep thinking that one of these days I will finally get around to making a rag rug. I went so far as to tear my strips, but I just cannot seem to get focused enough to go any further. Your rug looks great!
I'm a Scanner (defined as someone fascinated by so many areas she can’t settle for just one). I have a wide variety of interests and I love learning. I'm not a very talkative person, but I'll attempt to share some of my favorites with you. These are my own opinions and no post or message is financially sponsored.
That is really lovely! Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteThat looks really great!! I might have to give that a try. Are you using old wool?
ReplyDeleteActually I'm using fabric strips (cotton, I think).
